The Community Housing Resource Center is a HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency.  We serve low/moderate income first time homebuyers mainly in the city of Vancouver and Clark County. Recently, we began serving Cowlitz, Skamania and Lewis counties in partnership with the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.
The Mission of the Community Housing Resource is to provide educational services that assist people pursuing home ownership or having housing-related issues to become self-determining in accomplishing their goals.

  • 1999 - John J Gunther Partnership Award - presented by the Department of Housing and Urban Development for collaboration with Columbia Non-Profit Housing to improve access to down payment assistance programs
  • 1998 - Oregon Governor's Partnership Award
  • 1996 & 1997 - Fannie Mae "Partners in Housing" Award - among top five nationally
